Has anyone on here cut the pinch welds off on the front of a kk to run a bigger tire. 2011 Liberty 2" budget boost with 245/75/16 test fit a 32x1150x15 with 3.75" bs only place it rubs is on the floor board where the pinch seam is. Woul like to cut off and plate. Please post pics if you've ever done this. Thank you.

Pound the pinch weld down.

Also lift it higher. You can squeeze 32s on a 3.5" lift.

Do NOT cut the pinch weld ( structural part of the body. Pound it over with a BFH
Throw the " budget boost " away ASAP do a full spring lift, mush better and will last longer and get more lift
7 inch wide wheel with 4 inches of backspacing work best
32 inch tires will need at least 4.10 gears , but 4.56s would be better

His plans are 4.56 gears he is ordering the 4" coilover kit from jeepinbyal. It'll be here after the first of the year. So 4"bs and a 32x11.50x15 will fit without rubbing upper control arms? Mine is 3.75" bs and could barely squeeze my finger between tire and upper ca.. So pretty much do relief cuts and fold pinch welds over? We beat the piss out of this kk so it needs to have room for what little flex the ifs has.

No relief cuts are needed at all, just beat it over

X2.....i beat mine down with a claw hammer the first time. Learned my lesson real quick. 2lb sledge works real good. 15lb is overkill

I have a 3lb ball pen hammer I can use. Thanks for input y'all. If you couldn't tell I'm a Xj guy. Still trying to learn all the DIY for the kk's lol. I'm gonna start building bumper brackets soon enough. We have a jk bumper on it now but we want to add a winch to it so I'll fab up brackets that'll run into the frame rails. Any one else done similar things? Can't find any rough idea pictures on google but I have ideas of my own.

Something similar to a rear Xj bumper bracket is what I'm thinking. Image

Go under the frame rail with a backing plate in the frame rail
