I finally received delivery on the new Liberty and I am enjoying it. I thought I should learn how to post a photo, so here is my first attempt. A couple of question, if someone could offer some thoughts. So far I have noticed no squeaks, rattles, whistles, or other strange noises and everything seems to be working perfectly. My only small complaint is that the brake pedal makes a sort of rattling "clunk" when I take my foot off. Is this normal for a Liberty, or is the return spring or damping mechanism not working properly. My other vehicles don't do this. An unrelated question, is a stock Liberty able to negotiate Elephant Hill in Canyonlands? I used to have a International Scout Terra pickup (which I wish not I hadn't sold) that had no problem. I'd like to go back and do it again, but won't be lifting the Liberty for a while if at all. Anyway, here's an attempt at a photo. right click on your picture and then go down to properties and use the URL that you see there...and don't forget to use the "Img" feature in the posting message body area...hope you enjoy the new KJ, I just lost mine Monday night in an accident... The brake issue, doesn't sound familiar to me so you might be right about a spring or something being out of place or something like that |
