Good news! It'll cost negative money!

Sell your running boards (jparts sells them for ~$400, so you can probably get that much from some sucker on eBay if they are in good condition)

Buy some bars:

All J Boulder bars - $310
Mopar - $265 or so
Rusty's - $279
Rocklizard Skink Sliders - $250, $275, $375 (normal, step, and super-step)
(I'm sure there are others, somebody else will chime in)

Install them yourself and you're golden

Does anyone have a photo of the skink step and super-step sliders? I'm actually curious myself, I may at some point in the distant future swap out my mopar rails for something with a step

You forgot to add Rock Lizard's "Skink Sliders."

I replaced the side steps on my '03 Renegade with the MOPAR rock rails. I got the rock rails on Ebay for about $130 with the shipping and sold the steps to a fellow LOST member. For pics before and after the change, click the link to my Cardomain site in my sig.

Nope. And there is no XJ product section. I see a link for the Liberty section and a link for the Skink Slider section. This site looks pretty awful, but the products look great!

Well, I can't speak for his website building abilities, but he's awesome with metal fabrication! Seriously guys, I've seen the RL products first hand and they are they are bomb proof and the least expensive. I personally run All J's Boulder Bars and those are great too, but a little more pricey.

Carolina Rock Shop (CRS) RockRails have a slider bar, which my wife uses as a step every time she gets in the truck (I just use it when I'm trying stuff to the roofrack).

Here's the thread with picts.

As Richard stated above, I think they're $300 a set. They are overbuilt, tough as can be, and I've put my 225 pounds on the slider/step bars multiple times at this point...the truck moves...the rails don't.

I'll be heading to Charlotte in the next week or so to get mine!

haha, I meant a sucker that wants runningboards instead of rockrails in the first place, not saying that they aren't worth that much. :-P

You might be right, though, shipping cost will be high, and it'd be tough for an eBayer to decide to buy a used set from somebody and pay $arm and $leg for shipping when they can buy a new one and get the free or cheap shipping that a parts supplier can offer.
