The daimler/chrysler factory service manual is by far the most inclusive accurate manual for the KJ. The aftermarket books are OK and are more useful than nothing but can be vague, confusing, and too general in some respects.

Yes, a big one. I think the Jeep ones go for around $100 or so new, the haynes I have is ok and was only $16. Some people are nice enough to give you the jeep one and thats how I got it. It was a guy on here but I dont remeber who. Its really, really good. Its so good thats its hard to find the stuff you need b/c theres so much stuff.

I found my Factory manual on ebay used but in great condition. If you have patience you can get one for $20-30.
