If anyone has the Husky Cargo Liner for their KJ, does it really have a lip on the sides that stops holds in the sloshing of water, mud, etc...??? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007R4J1M/ref=wl_it_dp/102-2380643-9927333?%5Fencoding=UTF8&colid=23PGXQ977MINB&coliid=I7Y80YSW82PB7&v=glance&n=15684181 Also, I am thinking of buying the Husky Front Seat Floor Liners. Same question as before... does it really have a lip on the sides that stops holds in the sloshing of water, mud, etc...??? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007RIN7I/ref=wl_it_dp/102-2380643-9927333?%5Fencoding=UTF8&colid=23PGXQ977MINB&coliid=I10ALC3FV83TOP&v=glance&n=15684181 |

The highlands have it, too (I have highland mats for the front and rear seats). Also the mopar cargo-area tray has lips as well. I don't think any other mopar mats have the edges, though. |

I have the Husky front liners and they are great. I read your question in two ways. One is yes, the water does not exit the mat and get the carpet wet. The other way I read your question si that you are asking if there are channels so the water drains off from the main foot area so the water doesn't splash around when you move your feet. The answer is no and I have never seen a channeled floor mat like that. |

I have the husky liner. It has a lip edge completely around it that goes up about an inch and a half from the base. It is water tight, but has not system for channeling the water away or anything. I guess if you had water in it you would just pull it out and dump it. Unfortunately for me, I had to cut two slits in the bottom of it for my subwoofer mounting straps, so it's not water tight anymore anyway |

I'm guessing he meant Room-Temperature Vulcanization: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTV So basically, silicone rubber or something. I don't think that'll help you much, though - You need to have that mounting strap go right through the mat, so no amountof sealant will change that. Unless you put a huge blob of it and then cut a slit through that, at least that would be high enough so that the slosh wouldn't go down there. |

I don't expect to have too much sloshing water back there, so I should be okay. I pretty much just put the liner back there for ease of cleaning + a certain dog who occasionally gets transported via the Jeep |

My front Husky Liners: For completness of the thread, here are my grey highlands. Color actually matches better than it looks in the photo, they look like they came with the jeep.
