hi all, i installed my warn m8000 winch, i wanted to install it permanently because i know sometime i will need it and will be sitting on my garage waiting for a ride, so i take every thing off and start to "create" a support for the winch, yesterday late i put back every thing and this is how it looks, i have adjustments to do so every thing work fine, i have two problems now, one cable disconected from the little blink light at the side and winch is going back when in the remote is forward and forward when the remote is backward but i am shure i verified the conection!!! so tomorrow i will take the bumper off to fix both. i have a warn roller NIB but now i'm thinking in changing the line for a sinthetic line with aluminium hawse, so no more cutting on the bumper, what do you guys think?

Looks great! Nice and clean mount.

I was wondering if that was possible the other day! Did you take any pics of how you reinforced the mount? Did you mount the winch upside down?

If you want to take some weight off the front end then go for the Synthetic Line. The Aluminum Hawse will work fine with the steel cable though. Very nice and clean install though.

Looking forward to seeing how you mounted that behind the bumper.

Upside down was my first try, once installed this way the winch stick to much down and you lost a space between where you attach the hooks and the upper line of the front piece, so NO WAY!!, so i make just the same pieces i had in my other 4x4 (and tested a lot of times), two L pieces of 7 mm solder together.
