Can anybody tell me how to take off the factory roof rails? the only screws I see are the torx bolts on the actual rail itself. How do I get the whole assembly off of the roof? |

Check out this thread over on JeepKJCountry.com: How to run power for basket roof lights. There is a pic there of the interior of the rail ends (the plastic pieces). It looks like the outer section of the end pops off (3 spring clips inside), then there are two bolts to remove the other section from the roof. So bassed on that, I'd say it is 4 plastic sections and 8 bolts to get the rails off. Good luck. |

Awesome. I figured it was like that, but I didnt want to break that plastic piece. Mine was just giving me a hard time. |
