My front end clicks with each full turn of the wheel. Dosn't matter if I'm going strait or turning. It does it almost all the time but it will sometimes stop if I hit a bump in the road. Any ideas on what it may be?

What size tires are you running? Could be your hearing them rub on either the pinch weld cover or the wheel well cover behind the bumper. OR It could be the dreaded CV failure is happening to ou perhaps....I hope it is the rubbing.

Did you check for a rock or screw stuck in your tread? I get them all the time. Click .... click ....click...

I'm running stock tires. I really don't think it's just somthing in the tire but I will check. It sounds more like a mechanical noise. I thought if it were the CV joints it would only make noise while turning?

I checked the tires yesterday and theres no nails or anything. I also jacked it up and turned the wheel by hand and it didnt make the noise.

A CV joint on the brink of failure will also make a clicking noise in a straight line. You probably can not reproduce the noise by hand because the CV needs to be loaded (force) to create the condidtion. I would re-jack up the front of the liberty and look for tears in the boot that protects the CV. Also this would be a good time to look at the LBJ and make sure it's not ready to give out.

I couldn't find any splits in the boot but there was lube all over it and most of the suspension in that area. Is there no saving it or is it possible a new boot and lube would cure the problem?

It sounds like it is beyond repair. Do you have a lift? If you are still under warranty, take it to the dealer and see if they will replace it under warranty. You might have to take it to more than one dealer to find one that will cover it .

No lift yet and I'm definitly out of warranty at 101k. Any idea how much I'm looking at for a DIY job?

Try to find a shop locally that rebuilds CV joints/axles. I found one that would do it for $59.
