I purchassed a set of 5 rubicon moabs and mtr's from a fellow jeeper. Im wanting to put them on my 02 limited but Im not sure if I need a lift. Will these fit on my libby on lifted? If I need a lift whats a decent one to get that won't cost me an arm and a leg? Thanks -Jesse |

Yes you will need a lift. Look around in the 4x4 section at the various threads concerning lifts. A good lift isn't all that cheap (but not that expensive compared to other vehicle lifts) if you plan on wheeling and want it to last. |

Yes, and it will need to be a 2.5" lift. Best choice is a full coil lift. You will also HAVE to hammer flat the pinch weld and possibly heatgun the front liner and push it forward to reduce rubbing there also. |

-Jesse If you have a pre-lowered 02, you *may* be able to fit them, but like everyone else said, you are better off lifting it. If you aren't doing much offroad, you can go with a spacer lift (Daystar has one that is highly recommended) For a spring lift, rustys is relatively inexpensive. Frankenlift costs approximately $arm + $leg, so that's probably not an option. |

Like JJ said, compared to lifting other Jeeps, it's not that bad. Depends on how highly you value your arms and legs. |

I was hoping to get away with not having to get a lift. Looks like I will be going with a rustys coil lift. Are these hard to install? Ill probably be doing it myself. Thanks for all replies -Jesse |

The easiest lift is the frankenlift, b/c the struts are preassembled. For Rusty's you'll either need to get a shop to assemble/dissassemble for you or rent/buy a spring compressor to do it. I'd suggest getting a good compressor, dealing with a bad one is dangerous. I've heard it can be done in a day in a driveway, though, even so. |

JGoslee...where are you located? If there are fellow LOST members nearby, they may be able to assist you in installing your lift. |

the rims will fit just fine with out the tires. You would need to put on smaller threads though. |
