The first group buy went off very sucessfully, So now we begin buy #2:

In order to accomplish this project, I will need to collect everyone's funds, and then place the order. I do not have the finances to bankroll this one.

Price: $45 including shipping ($85 for two as shipping can be combined)

The price to us is $35, plus $5 extra for shipping and plus $5 back to the club, just so everyone knows where the money is going.

The deadline for getting in on the second batch will be Wednesday, May 24, 2006 12 PM Central time.

In the previous thread on these badges you had mentioned you might have some extras after MOAB....do ya? or did they all get used as a raffle gift? If so, no biggy, I should have $45 next wed. for the second round purchase. What are the dimensions again for this badge, so I can make sure I got space for it where I'd like to put it? Nope. No extras left.

The dimensions are 6" x 1.5"

Hey now...I noticed the display one at the beginning is silver in color (aluminum's color) whereas 0311_DoC has black in the inlets...is that because you painted it black in there or is that an option....just curious?

I painted it. actually the LOST and mtns are black and the trail tested edition is emerald green. I dont know if Pixldzn can swing it. But the guy who makes them will paint them for you at an additional cost.

cool deal...just checking...i got some model (die-cast scale models) paint that i think should work on that jsut fine...what type of paint did you use?

I just used good ole Krylon from wally world. if you go to www.billetbadges.com it lists some steps to aide you in how to apply the paint
