When I received all the seperate boxes for the lift, I noticed there were no rear bumpstops in any of the packages. Rear bumpstops are included in the Frankenlift, correct?

I just tore into mine yesterday, and my rear bumpstops were in the same box as the rear shocks. They didn't really have their own package, they were just sort of wrapped up in plastic wrap. Make sure you didn't throw them out with the packing peanuts! If they really didn't ship, give All J's a call, I'm sure they'll straighten things out ASAP.

I know I'd resurrecting an old thread but I have to ask: do I really need to install the bumpstops with the frankenlift? What will happen if I don't install them?

No, you dont. If you have with less BS and wide tires, you will need them to keep down rubbing.

Yes, you need them. Unless your idea of fun is the possibility of having a spring pop out when flexed.

Depends on which shock you have. Ive never heard of anyone popping one out with the rancho shocks? Maybe Im wrong?

Bumpstops are to prevent the overcompression of the springs during flex. Aprperly tuned suspension will always have the correct amount of bumpstop. Which is cheaper, adding the longer bumpstops, or replacing the coils after they sag prematurely?
