2.5 inches of more snow this morning!! What the Heck is that all about ?
I think its time to pull the Crime Scene tape out and set up the front yard.
Everywhere I have lived for the past 25 or so years ( well except for Toledo I was afraid to ) I would go out to the front yard, roll around, make it a real mess, then throw red food coloring all over, and run Crime Scene tape around it. Few times with car tracks up into the yard as well . We even stuffed some clothes one year and left the body laying there, Sheriff said to remove it, didn't find it funny at all
But its then sit back and watch the neighbors as they drive by the next morning :ROTFL: :ROTFL:
Now to find the box that has everything in it .............................

Snow's headed our way. We have a winter storm warning here in Philly with 5-8 inches predicted beginning Monday morning. And it was 55 here today. 8) Hard to believe it's going to snow, but I held off washing the Jeep just in case they are right.

I know a guy up here with a nice silver Jeep (Renegade). Not sure about the ARB, though. Did it have a roof basket with off-road lights mounted on it?

Hey all!

Just got back in town tonight - moved my son to Nashville!

He's pursuing his dream to play bass guitar for a living (I know I'm biased, but the kid is good. I play guitar, been around music my whole life - I ain't just shooting sunshine to make a good post 8) )

He's also smart - got a very good job in software programming for a healthcare company based in Nashville so he won't go broke looking for a gig, he's renting from a friend who is keyboardist for a prominent contemporary Christian band so he knows a guy who knows some guys, and he's prepared to work hard at his craft. Darnit, I'm proud of him (and kinda wish I was in my 20's again so I could chase some of those rainbows without all the "stuff" that comes with 'mature years.' :ROTFL: )

Just under 1100 miles, about 15.5 mpg's with crappy winter blend gas (not bad) and a HEAVY load (ever pick up a bass guitar amp and cabinet? They're heavy, and he has several!) Plus a U-Haul 6X12 is a load all by itself.

Headed to Music City last Saturday morning - I'm gonna miss him...

Wish him the best. Its an extremely tough industry to make it. You never know, but it sounds like your boy does have a pretty good job to support himself.

U ready for the next 2 dumpings??? ;)

Bob, good luck to your son. My friend's son plans to do the same, he was going to Belmont college in Nashville to be around the scene, this kid is amazing with an electric guitar. He hopes to tour with Contemporary Christian bands someday.

I'm beginning to feel like Chris, ( oh the horror of that thought :D ) with his radiators, 3rd water pump on Tahoe in 6 yrs. Crappy Advance auto junk.
Oh, they have changed their warranty policy it seems, they only keep their computer records for 2 yrs. If you buy a lifetime warranty part, better keep the receipt FOREVER or they won't honor it. I had to pay for another pump last night cause my records didn't go back 2 1/2 yrs when I bought it and can't find receipt :banghead: :banghead:

Guess we are into 3-6" of snow tongiht too and more Sunday, I'm so ready for spring.

Thanks Corey. Yep, I'm ready to 'dumpings.' Was supposed to go to Crawford County, PA on Wednesday but they'e expecting 14 inches of snow. I said no thanks to that one...

The friend my son is renting from - and keyboardist for Tenth Avenue North - graduated from Belmont. That's how he got the connections in Nashville. My son hopes for some connections from the connections ;)

Some people have to be more economical with their thoughts than others. :jester:

Good luck to your son, and that's all the thoughts I can spare at the moment. ;)

Holy Snowman, Batman!

Is that snow stacked on your back patio? Will be quite a picture to look back on come July on a 95 degree day - which sounds REALLY good about now :furious:

How much snow have you gotten, Tom?
