I took some drop leaves from a table I refinished but didn't reuse those and made the plaque from them. Lap jointed then pegged together. Finished the edge with a 5/32 roman detail then finished it in red mahogany with a high gloss poly. The numbers were my battle, I have a huge pile of scrap but ended up with some made out of cedar that I really like. They're also edged with the same roman edge, I will be staining and high glossing the tops only painting the edging a white. I already did a set in pine and they look/pop fantastically and it looks rather elegant if I don't say so myself.

More snow on the ground this morning, Toledo has tied the record for amount of snow in one winter since they started keeping records in 1878 or sometime back then. We've tied the amount set in 1977-78 what a great year, had to shovel a path to get to the barn to feed the cattle, carry them water etc.

When we did Anns lift (from Chicago) back at the old place she brought me a bottle of CC, sweet girl knew how to treat a guy! :wink:

Just found that bottle out in the garage and finished it off to stay warm

this nice clear peach flavored drink, only tested at 160 proof, but half a water glass of it and ................

Lol. Yep. Just like that.

. I just tell people its my cholesterol meds. Helps break it down while it thins your blood. Plus you get you daily dose of fruit. :lol:

X2 on the Garage being to cold ! Brrrr and we are 10 degrees warmer here at +5. Garage was 37 last night - scared to look this morning.

It's -11 here but the Jeep did just fine on the way into work this morning

The Jeep said the garage was 14ºF. I find THAT hard to believe.
