Now that could go a couple of ways :shock:

Fresh front lawn.......broke my back and body releveling it, seeding, watering, talking to it, petting it, and then BAM!!!!! Freekin fury lil mole!!!!! No worries, got the lil trouble maker last night :dead:

In the middle of doing the same thing to my back yard, by hand which sucks because it's not a small backyard at all and have to move tons of soil along with chopping out the remaining stump/roots from the old maple :banghead:

Busier than I've ever been in my entire life but the house and yard is looking awesome and has come leaps and bounds from where it was but should of been all along :SOMBRERO:

Now my biggest problem is my neighbors want me to build and do stuff for them since they love everything I've done so far :shock:

Off to load ANOTHER 5x10 trailer chocked full with torn out sod/dirt by hand BEFORE work :pepper:

Yep everyone is busy busy busy
I have had two people tell me to rent a larger U-Haul so we could move everything in one load. Rented two of them so far at different times and both times they backed out/ never showed / was too busy
Such is life :banghead:

Does it not connect to the Internet at all, or is the problem just getting it to tunnel into your office?

Does not connect at all, everything comes up like it should but no connection. I have a laptop they gave me so should be able to go in wireless, won't though. Also have a workstation that the laptop sits in you know and should connect wired , still won't
NOW I will confess I know a whole lot more about small block Fords and Chevys and Shovelhead Harleys, I can work on them, listen to them and know what ails them. Computers I know enough to turn on/ type reports/ do what I have to and that is it
SO while it maybe a very small thing for some of you "edukated" folks me I am stumped right now :ROTFL:

By "everything", what exactly does that include? Also: Who is your ISP?

Computer turns on, but just no connection to the internet no matter how I hook it up or try it. Hate to have to drive 5 miles to the office to read emails :wink:

ISP?? Not sure down here never looked it up since I moved

Check your work email on your Iphone till you get it figured out.

I'd start here:

1) Make sure the wireless adapter is enabled both in the BIOS and in Windows. It might also need to be enabled via a hotkey on the laptop. (Usually an "F-Key on the top row. You might need to press another key at the same time since most laptop keyboards make the keys do double-duty.)
2) Run the Internet Connection Wizard in Control Panel
3) Check and see what your Control Panel => Network and Sharing Center shows for available networks.

What version of Windows did they give you?

See any Red "X" here?

I'll check all of that again here in a little while, carrying boxes to the basement right now trying to unload another load

Keep us posted it may be that the router is not talking to the ISP. DSL connection do that some times

There's no way your going to get connected if you have no ISP.

Did you call an internet company to get internet service? That's what an Internet Service Provider is...

If so, just call that company and they will walk you through it.

Hey Tom when you hard wire your work laptop to the router does the symbol in the lower right corner display a PC with a yellow triangle and an ! In it. If so its not pulling an IP address from your router. You may need to contact the companies it department to see if they have locked the PC from dynamic to static dhcp leasing.

Yes I have an internet provider how do you think I am able to get on here?
But its Time Warner and every time I call/ send messages to them they are about as much help as my 2 week old neices son, totally worthless and always have been.
