Man...did I ever get sucked into the FB black hole! I finally got to see Mudd's new place...I say we block off the cul-de-sac with kjs. Perfect for a M&G! I also got to meet The Parts Snatcher...I had to make sure everything was still bolted down after he left. :D

Are kjs like dogs...where they start to resemble their owners. Mine started putting out a burning oil smell and I can't find a source, meanwhile, I'm getting over an eye infection and now I'm getting a cold or something. Maybe it's time to retire both of us.

Glad to see everyone is generally doing well....keep it up boys and girls.

I wonder why most repair shops have bad reputations....they just replaced the gaskets before this started. Like I have time for this crap.

Right side valve cover gasket is leaking I'll bet, leaks down onto the manifold at the rear of the engine.
Yes we could block off the cul-de-sac and have enough room to park a few KJs and maybe even a KK or two

Parts snatcher :ROTFL: good one

Since you know where I live now, run over some evening and we'll see if we can locate the leak for you. Could be something different, right side valve cover gasket is usually the first to leak

Stopped by a Mr. Tire yesterday to price out some new tires.
The regular banter what vehicle, what size, that size won't fit on a Jeep Liberty.............
Then the real issue,......I tried pricing 5, after a long time punching around on the computer salesman say he can price me out 4 but not 5 ,.................what the heck???
Then he prices 10 ply not 6, when I asked about the price difference he says" well we can give you the 6 ply for the same price"
I look at the sheet he printed off and said well it looks like 267 a tire all taxes mounted / balanced etc. so 5 would be 1337. Salesman then argues that it can't be right. After 10 minutes on the computer again he finally says I'm not really sure how much 5 would be, but I can have you 4 in here this afternoon.
At that point I gave up and just walked out .

Anyone up for checking out a wheeling spot? It's not illegal but I couldn't get written permission either because of the work going on next spring.
I spoke with the guy in charge with the land, public land and not posted.

Washed, clay barred, 2 coats of wax so far, the 05 KJ is starting to look pretty good now, still have the interior to do and tail gate to finish tonight yet.
Step Father is smiling so its a good sign!

I went back there by myself so I didn't get crazy. Ran into some people back there with two Cherokees and a caravan.
