Geez...........can't even take 10 days off around here :banghead:

After almost ten years of being on here, over 25,000 posts I took a 10 day vacation from it all and trying to get some other things done.
A) Tanzania finally approved my sons Passport and issued it the other day, so now finishing up his paperwork on the US Immigration site
B) Working on the Mazda issue, can't say much except no title, no way to get one, ...officials are involved and been working with them.
C) Work has picked up almost too much, worked 32 hours last week, too much for me, taking on more things till I get someone hired as an assistant .
D) Testing some new parts out on mine, so lots of installing/ changing parts/ taking pictures/ getting upgraded parts in for more tests etc.
E) Motorsickles........ :dizzy:

I bought my first Harley in 1972, rode, repaired ( what else do you do with old Harleys :wink:

) had 9 over the years even rode one of mine over 98,000 before I sold it( stupid mistake was my favorite bike ( 95 FXRT Sport Glide) built a couple of ones that won quite a few shows. Then got out of riding when I moved North in 2004, missed having at least one BUT stupid flat/straight roads. But with a ride on Chris' new ride, moving closer to some of the best riding roads in the Midwest , I'm now planning a winter build I think. Old style bagger on a new frame/motor.
F) STILL NEED A "WORK" KJ yet if anyone knows of one thats low mileage/ priced right . Mine at 208,000 is getting tired of 250-300 mile days 2-3 days a week and need it soon!!

So I'm not dead, haven't crawled in a hole and cover my self up. I'm actually getting ready to go pick up the first batch of rear bumpers soon and will be installing two, maybe 3 of them here, one for a couple from Illinois and one for a guy from Indiana. Won't release names without their consent yet

A lot going on here. Finally said f***it and having the KJ finished by Phantom Racecars. He's going back through the engine one more time, probably going EFI now. He builds dirt late models for a living and this is his busy time so mine is a fill in project for now. That's OK for now, it's already been ...... what ..... 3... 4 years! What's a couple more months!!! I just don't have the time or place anymore to work on it. Can afford it now, so what the hey!
Wife hasn't been doing too well lately, so waiting on and taking care of her. Have a new 3 month old purebred Golden Retriever now to train and take care of. Thinking we're going to move, so checking out houses in the area and maybe closer to work. It's an 85 mile round trip every day. Just looked at a house last weekend about 10 miles closer. 3 br, 2ba, ranch, deck basement, 30x80 pole barn with 220, sitting on 5 acres ..... 125k. Still looking tho'
On the KJ, getting the engine swap finished, finishing the rear flares, going to be ordering some new suspension parts soon too, maybe a rear bumper, (hey Tom! ) front bumper, sliders, tube doors. Ya, got some money ( a boatload!! ) now I gotta spend some. 8-)

Well, I could help ya spend it, I could use an RL front bumper!!

I also know of a great house for sale in your area, has a good size garage with a part concrete-part gravel driveway which hold a good 10 KJ's for meet and greets. It has a nice deck that's good for drinking on, grilling, etc. A real decent neighborhood. The house, inside and out is well taken care of, matter-of-fact, I bet you've at least driven by it a few times.

I keep think I need to get keys to you somehow so you can do a quick look see on that KJ up there so we can decide to sell or make it my work KJ for visiting my peoples ........... :wink:

To be honest, not sure. I drove it up on hucoreys trailer when we brought it down from upper Detroit. Sounds like a rocker came off in a way. Problem was didn't have the money to tear it down then if it was more of a major problem. I was going to haul it down here to work on it, but city code says NO to that.( No non running vehicles allowed )
So thinking of having my great / fantastic/ all around great guy pick it up and take a look at it at his place. He's one of those diesel heads ( right hucorey :wink:

but he maybe able to check it out without trying to stuff a diesel in it :roll:

Plus have to buy Chris out since its tied up in a partnership right now. :lol:

My engine is starting to smoke some on startup, and has a slight low rattle every now and again so need a back up soon!!!!!!!!
Then mine gets a new motor/ transmission/ transfer case/ brakes/4.56s with steel front diff / 33s / new exhaust from engine back and a few more items. Should be good for another 200-225,000 then at least.
Been paid off since 2006 so why not treat the old girl to a few new things. :wink:
