I got up,
it was dark,
it was cold,
it was lonely
I went back to bed!

My KJ is 600ft off the road and i live in the middle of no where with two loud dogs. If anyone decides they want to walk up the drive way to attempt to steal my KJ they better be fast and have a bigger gun than a Mosin M91.

I try to get up early so I can get 4 -10 hour days in and then have long weekends.
Some mornings its real hard to make it all the way to the office though. That 20 foot from my bed to my desk is the WORST!
And no I do not get up to check the Heep, today was the first I had actually seen it in three days! Sitting quietly on jack stands waiting

So i was getting into a debate with other Jeep owners(non-KJ owners at that) and they all seem to think that the 245/75r16 tires i was told by yet another jeep owner(KJ owner) that the tires would fit just find maybe a little rub with no lift. So i leave the question to all of you...Will the tires fit before i get my lift or should i get the lift and the tires at the same time?

245-75-16s will not fit unless you have a lift , period. Now some have ran them a few days but turning, going over curbs anything like that will prove to be a problem. Heck one KJ here in town with a Rustys lift rubs yet with 245-75s!

Unless you have a brand new stock suspension they will rub like crazy, no matter what the other so called experts say!

245-70s will fit but thats it if you want to drive it

We may still have to reprimand you for posting the wrong thing though!
But yep 245-70s just light rub when fully cranked all the way to the right most times. I ran that size for 20,000 or so
Most any size there is at least one of us has tried before on here
like me 235-70,245-70, 255-70, 265-70, 265-75

next some 38 X 15.50s

Well hopefully come mid January before the meet and greet i will find the time and money to get my lift bought and put on. I decided to support a local vendor and start the lift addiction with a 2.5" rough country lift and just upgrade it little by little as funds become avalible. That is unless someone knows of a better lift for $315 out the door.
