Things to do in Akron area ?

Post subject:  Things to do in Akron area ?
First weekend in March a friend and I are going to Akron for a concert. We'll be traveling Thursday, in Akron Thrus night, there Fri-DAY ( show is Friday night in Akron ), there all day Saturday, and coming home Sunday.

We were thinking of going Friday to Cleveland to see the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame... is that something that could be done in 1 day ? Is there anything in the Akron area worth a visit we could go to on Saturday ?

Football Hall of Fame
Summit Racing just a few miles east in Tallmadge
Of course you got the Rock and Roll hall of Fame mentioned already
Goodyear stores one of its Blimps there maybe able to see it if its outside

I have a Half Brother there but he's REAL boring

The Hall of Fame is real interesting and not too time consuming. Don't plan on eating there. If you do you will have to sell your first born to pay for it. Outside of Akron is Wingfoot Lake. That is where all the blimps used to be housed. Don't know about now, but you can get real close to the hangers...REAL BIG!

Not far from the hangers is the town of Suffield. Drive slowly through it or you will miss it! That swamp on your right is where I learned to ice skate! They should put up a marker there telling the world about it! :ROTFL:

he PM me for my number, ill meet up with you! i havent been to the Rock Hall in a long time!

im directly in between Akron and Cleveland

and yes, we are getting hit with a storm, by the end of Saturday, we should have 12-15 MORE inches, on top of the 8 or so we already have :D
