well, busted out about 1.5 hours ago with the assistance of 1996XJ, my bowels are intact, the surgeon does not want to risk another bleed or blood clot from removing the bad section unless it gets really bad.

Yeah, this is the sixth time I have had this junk in 5 years, I am open to taking that piece of bowel out, but they want to do this carefully, take me off the blood thinners and wait for time I am not soo stressed out.

feeling human again, not in the fish bowl, showered, fresh clothes, happy dog, checked out all the nice well wishes from everyone and the LORTAB has kicked in 8)

glad to hear you're out of the Coup

cousin just got home from his what-cha-macallit bag reversal after having a tumor biopsyed, they sent him home, then it ruptured over night, and they had to take out a bunch - about a year or two ago

i hate to ask but ya got chrons or somethin? my ex did, and they were forever tryin to talk her into gettin cut up

yeah, diverticultis for the 6th time in 5 years, very painful.... surgeon said they usually do these with a scope but with my history of clots, pe's and bleeds they want to to this open to catch any wayward bleeders, been through one retro-peritoneal bleed, do not want to go thru that ever again.

Glad to see your out Dustin and doing okay. I have two coworkers who have Crohns disease and they are constantly battling that stuff.
