Post subject:  11/13/11 M&G at Summit Racing 1:00 P.M. Thanks to all!!!
Anyone interested in doing a M&G over that way, meet there and we could always go somewhere for food or??

METCRD needs some oil I have and have to drop it off
some guy from Pa needs some lug nuts ( have to remember to weld my rear bumper on though)

i'll be there! unless it's snowing. i cant take my jeep in the snow... or rain.



also i'm going to take a CO2 tank with an air chisel hoping you cant weld very well :twisted:

I'm sure we can get metcrd to come down, he needs the oil I have!
I'll get a hold of Ray also he can come with his Disco! :wink:

What time we shooting for 1:00 or ??
I'll be pulling my little red trailer along as well, have to take some things down to my parents place

oh yeah! forgot about Ray.. met him at Jeep Skool one time with his green KJ. Maybe i'll post this over in the PA section since Summit is only a few mins from a lot of PA.

hmmmm, theres Swensons, its an old school drive-in place kinda of like Sonic, you park and the waiters/waitresses come out to your truck. just an idea. the burgers are REALLY good.

Depends on the day, weather etc but that may work
I'll be dragging a trailer behind me though so a pull in spot won't work so well :wink:
But I've heard they have great burgers

1:00 sounds good. hopefully its a nice day so we can show the machines... tom you think your master knowledge will be able to diagnos some quick problems in the parking lot... since there just happeneds to be a giant part store is right across the lot! :ROTFL:

We'll take a look to see what you have going on,
Have most tools to rebuild a KJ in the back all of the time anyways :wink:

I'll be coming up 77 from Marietta area so if anyone's on the way let me know as well and we'll run up together.

2006 KJ gave me the heads up for this event. I haven't been to a lost meet & greet since Harrisonburg, VA about 5 years ago... :banghead:

I've never been to summit racing, and doing a search, I see a store in tallmadge and in akron. I'm guessing it's the Tallmadge store? If I'm not working that day, I'd like to stop by, it's only about 1 hr from my house.

Its actually in Tallmadge but I think the Akron address comes up a lot since its close by.
Be glad to meet some more new people. This will not be one of the regular type that we throw since most times its at someones house but it'll work.
Wonder what Summit will do when several KJs/KKs start pulling into the lot :shock:

Maybe they'll get the hint and start stocking some parts, everything I've ordered from them was dropp shipped from the mfr.
If the akron address is on Kennedy, that's where they moved from. It's a coffee shop or something now. It's in tallmadge right next to i76. Ya can't miss it.

Guyute is you wanna meet me in Youngstown we can meet up nd make the trip together. You have to drive through younstown on 76 to get to it anyways so if you wanna let me know. Ive been there before if you dont know where its at.

That's a possibility. What time are you thinking about leaving? I was thinking of leaving around noon at my house. I figure it's about 45 minute drive. I live in Hermitage, PA right across the border. How close is the Sheetz on Salt Springs Road to you or the Flying J in Hubbard? Is there a better place to meet?

edit: I see you are coming up from columbiana. I think that if you come up 11, the Salts Spring Road is the next exit west on I-80 from where 11 meets I-80.
