So are we having a M&G in October?

If so, someone make a suggestion.

There is the Spoon River color drive. It has lot's of craft shows, flea markets and always good food at every stop.

I could get some of the guys from here to make the trip.

I'd like to meet some of you but you're always upstate.

Try getting away from the city for once...LOL.

We can't. We're wanted outside of the city. Then again, some of us are wanted inside the city too.

I don't care where we meet. Depending on who commits, we should choose a place centrally located. Or not?

Hey! I'm not quite Jaba the Hut, yet.
Funny how I usually got my mouth open, though.

yup, and I wasn't even referring to to Jaba the Hut, just the Long, long ago part, made me think of star wars, and then...hmmm, lets put a picture of Tom in there to make it interesting

What about Springfield..there is plenty to see and do...and how many of you have actually been to the capital city?? LOL

And it's centrally located...then anyone in the state could come.

I've been to Springfield many times... :) I wouldn't be able to do it in October though.

X2. You seen one presidential library, you've seen 'em all. j/k.

I'd rather do a weekend thing if traveling downstate. FWIW, October isn't good for me neither.

Really? I've heard Clinton's is more akin to an adult book store.

Okay well I've only seen two. Lincoln's in Springfield, IL and Nixon's in Yorba Linda, CA. One was a great lawyer, and the other a great crook.

Well I've seen two. One was akin to a lawyer's office - the other was akin to a crook.

We are down to 2 free weekends this month: next weekend and Halloween weekend. I know some are going to Badlands 10-23/25.

We might have better luck next month???
