i checked...coopatrooa beat me the second time...grrr...anyways my roof rack finally came in today. i am sorely disappointed. no box or crate or anything. just a bare metal roof rack with shipping labels taped to it...seriously i will take pictures. not only that but it has tape reseadue on it so i will have to clean it before i can even paint it. I mean i paid $160 in shipping for this? i feel i got grossly over charged. especially after a 3 month wait in stead of 30 days. This rack had better do some serious doo doo for me for it to be worth $720 all told.

You'll want to clean it anyhow to get rid of any oil residue on the metal. Ive used either mineral spirits or denatured alchohol with good results. It'll get rid of the tape residue with just a little rubbing. Use gloves the solvents will pull the oil out of your skin.

Have you checked shipping on over size packages lately? :?: :?:
I had some tires for sale on EBay, price to ship one tire was 93 bucks !
He ships everything bare and with shipping labels attached since its the cheapest way to go for the customer, if packed in a crate it would of been way more
If you don't like it I'm sure someone will take it off your hands
You have to sand and prep it anyways so whats the complaining about
:?: :?:
By the way still around just in an area where there's no internet/cell
aren't you lucky??? :goink:
