that's the way the part game goes doesnt it? gotta drop off on the way to pick up to maximize profit. especially when gas prices are high and mpg is low

So I'm looking for a few opinions from you guys. I respect your thoughts since most of you have a few more miles then me.

So it looks like I'm going to Georgia in September for about 15 weeks for schooling and I have to move down there. The TJ is a great vehicle and very fun but sadly it lacks room, comfort, and mpg. So I had been thinking about trading in for another jeep of course. I was thinking JK and I could pay off the difference but tonight I thought maybe a KJ. I drove one on a 12 round trip to pick my brother up and everything he packed. So there's room and comfort, I drove the TJ 3-4 hours back to school every weekend this past year and I got real tired of it. Plus I averaged around 23 mpg in the KJ with the TJ it's 18 mpg on a good day. The trip to Georgia would be about 8-9 hours.

So what are you thoughts? Don't be a wimp and man up? I found a couple KJ's in my price range that are great this is the only reason I ask

KJs are a good road trip vehicle plus DD as well
I used to drive from Toledo to Boston every other week while my wife was teaching at Harvard. Just over 11 hours one way, never shut it off just book all the way ! :ROTFL:
I've got over 187,000 on mine now and after driving a couple of JKs still like the ride of mine better ( and way better than a TJ
