What Camera are you using to caputer your Libby?

just got a cannon XSI a few weeks ago and haven't had anytime to shoot the liberty with it yet but cant wait to see how the pics turn out

My big camera is a Nikon D40x with a bag full of lens and other toys (Nikon 50mm f/1.8, Nikon 18-200mm VR, Sigma 10-20mm, Nikon SB-400, Nikon SB-600). But when I forget to bring that big stupid bag of toys..... I just use my iPhone LMAO...

I have a Pentax Optio W60, 10.0 Megapixel, 5 x optical zoom, and it's waterproof, which is important to me since I live at the beach and spend so much time on the water.

It's given me some fantastic images (including underwater stuff), has a huge array of point-and-shoot filter options, and takes really nice little movies (that are only limited in length by the memory available in the memory card).

Complaints: Proprietary battery (I bought two spares), zooming in while shooting movie produces less than desirable results (I always start the movie zoomed all the way in/close and then zoom out, which seems to make it work just fine), and it's only waterproof to 13 feet (I keep a floating key fob attached to the wrist-strap).

Canon EOS Rebel XTi.

For quickie stuff, very short videos, and awesome zoom....I still use my 2.1 MP Olympus C-700 Ultra Zoom.

I have some better pictures but don't feel like messing with that right now. I'm the one with the flag, we're waiting on the parade to start.

im looking to buy a new camera soon, im looking at the CANON sx10is, or the new NIKON p90. then theres a new canon sx1is, that comes out in april. what are your guys thoughts on CANON vs NIKON. and if you recommend any other models that are comparible to these, that maybe you have used personaly, or know someone who has?
im looking to spend around 400-500, no more than 500 on the camera, then of course the bag and extra card on top of the price of the camera.
