A dirty Jeep is a happy Jeep

Our KJs drive sweet, the Xterra drives like crap and in my opinion, not up to the quality of other Nissan cars.
Maybe that has something to do with it.

Nissan lost it's way with the Xterra. It was first introduced as a Gen X "just get out there" truck-based SUV. It was spartan with rubber interior, leaf-spring rear and lot's of rack to take your gear with you.

Now the Xterras in our inventory include leather, plush carpeting and rear-seat video to name a few. It seems the Nissan decided at one point that the Xterra needed to compete with an H3 and a Honda Pilot. With all the changes in the market, Nissan has a chance to set the market and carve out a niche if it stays on the original message.

The first gens had a terrible engine in terms of power. I rode in one (passenger seat) and did not like it at all. That's just me. Give one a try and see for yourself.

well befor i got my kj and i was still driving my 93 zj i looked at a xterra and it did not seem to have the pickup or even the handling of my much older zj

still think its a bit of a shame to see it go
