I didn't know where to post this on LOST but I thought this would be a good place. Next year, I may trade my KJ to a TJ and do a Brute conversion. This kit costs around $8,000. If I could find one to buy I'd do that, but I can hardly find one on the internet for sale.

This would be my next project

Yeah I know. I thought if I just bought a TJ LWB, I could modify the rear tailgate to flip down and I would have all that extra room in the back. Then buy a half closed cab hardtop from them.

Someone makes kits that does just that.
Or you can get a CJ tail gate which flips down and retrofit it onto the LJ.

Conversion kit doesn't take up any additional space. Jeep in the pic has what looks to be a Tuffy Enclosure or shelf in the back.

Spare? Bumper with Tire carrier.
