Its a beautiful country for sure or I think so. If you go I have friends in Kenya that maybe able to meet you and show you around some. For me I try to stay away from the tourist traps that every country has. I like to eat where the locals eat and shop where they do. So much more fun and you get more of what real life is like.
My wife had to laugh when we went into one place and I said something about being uncomfortable in there since there was way too many mazunga's in the place. ( mazunga's is a general term for white people in Swahili )

Shes teaching English and Communication Skills. Every freshman who comes to the University of Dodoma has to take the Communication Skills class. So this past year she had two classes a week with over 1500 students per class. She has 20 some teaching assistants to help her grade papers etc but still had to grade over 700 by her self!
She likes teaching in the US better since class sizes are much smaller
Ohio University's was like 25/30 and at Harvard and Boston U it was in the 30/40 range. She taught English and Swahili here of course.
