You heard it here first: Nebraska wins the Big 12 in 2010.

The Pac-10 needs to include Boise State and either Utah or BYU, split into North/ South Divisions, and add a conference championship. In so doing, Notre Dame gets knocked off of the schedule of all Pac-10 teams. Then. . .

Notre Dame could join the Big 10 and play in a conference like any major college football program should.

linewarbr.....at least we agree about ND. Holier than thou ego keeps them out of a conference. I can somewhat understand Army and Navy, but explain Air Force. The NCAA needs to grow balls and say, join a conference or you can't play any conference teams or bowl games.

I'll concede here this time.. one hell of a game though on both sides, but would someone find out where that officiating crew was from? Because there was a few questionable calls on both sides of the game..

Also to Budke, I think you need to Re-Check your facts.. Garcon was a monster for Indy today. Looked like it was going to be a tough one there, and the Jets looked really good for 28 minutes. Once Indy got the long pass with 2 to go in the first half, momentum took a turn and both teams decided to play like I expected. From them on Indy was a wrecking ball.

As a Colts fan and a Drew Brees fan (I was in school and in attendance when he led Purdue to the incredible win against OSU) all season I just hoped one of the 2 would win the SB, but now I just want Indy to win. :lol:

I just read some of this thread tonight and was suprised to see folk not liking peyton manning & the colts. What are people's views of them from around the country? To me they are a fairly classy team that can be amazing to watch. I dislike the teams with a lot of A-holes on them. And I think Manning is the greatest player to ever step on the field, wins and losses be darned. I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan. I used to dislike the Colts, I was a bears fan since I was a young kid, but watching their offense for the past 10 years has just been such a treat as a football fan that they've really grown on me.

I would love to see them win at least 1 more super bowl, and hopefully remain competitive for several more years.

Wow. Let me just say Manning is far from the greatest player ever to step on a field. One of the best NFL QB's ever? - Probably.

Personally, I think he is one of the biggest A-holes in the NFL today. I have nothing against the Colts, I just don't want to see them win. Actually I didn't want to see them reach the Super Bowl - but things didn't go my way. Had the Charger's made the SB, I'd have a tough time picking between them and the Saints.

As for what could have been... A Super Bowl between the aforementioned "A-Hole" from Indy, and the "Drama Queen" QB in Minnesota, that would have been a great offensive QB show between two certain Hall of Fame legends (like them or not). As I just eluded to - Saints vs Chargers would have been the perfect Super Bowl for me.

But it's N.O vs Indy and all I got to say is; " Who Dat! "

They made a big deal how Favre's family couldn't decide which team their loyalties were with for this game. I must say I question if it wasn't just his family with issues. You can find this or a similar thread where I was not on board for the Favre thing from day 1. I have always questioned his honor. I am not a changed man. To have FIVE turnovers and still take the game to OT was an amazing feat in what should have been a rout given that many turnovers. But I don't think it was Favre's feat. He looked like crap. Yes, he was hit hard. He has been hit hard before without falling apart, though. And that last INT when all he had to do was fall down....

Still, to finish in the top 4 of the NFL is a great accomplishment for the Vikes. They should be playing one more this season, but it is not to be.

Why is he an A-hole? I have never seen or heard anything that proves this. Have I missed something? Take Phillip Rivers though. He has proven his A-holeness at nearly every game he has played.

It's great that the Saints are in the Super Bowl, but they don't stand a chance. Peyton Manning is on a mission, as usual, and it's hard to stop him. I'm looking forward to it, but without a doubt I can say Colts beat the Saints.

We'll see. I think it is either going to be a tight game, like the NFC championship, or a blowout by one team or the other. I, however, expect a good game.

For the first time in a long time, I actually can't wait for the Super Bowl! So this is what it feels like, then. . . . :pepper:
