No doubt, fall is the best time of the year. I am still kicking myself for not bring my camera up when we did HLT on Sat. up in the Sierras. The color change was awesome. The temp, the colors, the holidays, its all awesome.

I love the fall colors back East. My favorite spot is Lane Stadium at Virginia Tech, in Blacksburg, Va.

The trees just peek over the top of the stadium and turn Chicago Maroon, and Burnt Orange (VT colors). It's pretty impressive with the trees and 68,000 fans in the same colors.

I'll see if I can find a pic.

I don't think there is a prettier yellow than the Aspens out West, by the vastness, and variety of colors back East is hard to beat.

I have to agree with everyone. I came to Florida from N.W. Pennsylvania, about 30 miles south of Lake Erie. I don't miss the snow one bit but, the fall is another matter. Down here the high temps have dropped to the mid 80's and at night around 70. So it is fall here also and I love the cooler temps. BTW, the pics are beautiful and makes me miss the maple trees back home. :cry:

30 miles south of erie!... that's almost to me (an hour south of erie)..

i know what you guys are talking about with beautiful fall colors and weather.. but i have an advantage. doing my pilots license so i spend 4 hours a week at about 4000 feet looking at all the colors

especially pretty around pymatuning lake

Granted, the fall colors are nice, but it's nowhere near my favorite time of year. The fall season would place 3rd in my book. For those of you confused... We have four seasons (or so it is believed) here in the midwest and east... oh never mind, you're most likely suffering from heat exhaustion and or having issues with sun glare on your laptops :lol:

I used to like snow, but then I lived in Bridgeport, CA. Now Minnesota does not impress me at all.

Bridgeport, one of the few places in the world that you can get stuck in snow...In June. :cry:
