I really need to stash my camera in my vehicle so I can catch stuff like this.

That stupid bridge doesn't look any further along than when I drove over 4 months ago. :roll:

Nice shot Taz, I've got one that I took at another overlook (I think). Need to stop by there when I'm out that way at the end of the month.

I travel across the dam a couple few times a month. To me it doesn't seem like they are moving very fast at all on the bridge. I thought it was supposed to be done by now? Like sometime in 07?


I always carry my camera with me, heck I keep it out on the seat ready to go as I travel, thats how I got this picture out the window of my TJ.

Holy hell look how low that water is now! I guess all the talk about emptying some of the lakes farther up stream are valid.

Pretty pic though, looks great at night!

It was supposed to be open in late '08 but one of the custom built tower cranes blew down when we had 70 mph gusts across the lake. They were the only two in existence and a new one had to be built so it put them behind schedule by over a year. The latest I heard was early 2010.
