A reminder to all - think about safety as well as off-road capability when modifying your Jeeps!

It would appear that this could well have been avoided, had he only paid attention to making sure that everything was done safely.

A sad tragedy but I do not like the media talking about points that have nothing to do with the cause of the crash or deaths without facts. They mention the tires being oversized making the speedometer wrong. Have they proven that the speedometer is off? Perhaps he recalibrated the speedo. The drivers seat having only two bolts did not cause the crash or the deaths. Should not be mentioned by the media. Only in court.

Hopefully a lessened to be taken and learned by all off-roaders doing major mods to their vehicles. We have seen some bad ones here in the Rockies.

12-seat Land Rover? Is that a mod or do they actually make one?
