I have a question to anyone that might know the answer (tjkj2002 probably What type of Front axle were in stock Suzuki Samurai? Were they SFA? I doubt it but just wanted to pose the question and this site seems to be the quickest way to get the correct answer. |

They were SFA with leaf springs. Tiny little things. Toy axles or Wrangler axles are a popular upgrade. |

Yes Samis had Suzuki straight axles. I currently have a Long Wheelbase (94" mine is 100") Samurai that I put Toyota axles (all the running gear) in. Also the 2.4L diesel engine. Toyota axles are a great upgrade for samurai axles. Though don't kid yourself , they are light rigs and you can still wheel them with stock running gear. I did Moab, the Rubicon and Fordyce Creek with my Samurai on stock axles..... |
