Lab results came back as cancerous, but luckily it was very small, like the ball on a ball point pen. They removed it and some of the wall and it hadn't spread into the wall yet. So he pretty much thinks its all gone. So I'm fine today, no longer pissing fire either...

Just going to have to watch it forever. I am going to talk to some oncologists to make sure we're taking the right approach.

Just kind of sucks, I'm not worried about it hurting me today, but having to catch any regrowths from now until forever sucks the big one. My doctor said something like "you might go three years without seeing another tumor". That wasn't exactly encouraging to me, the thought that every three years or less I'll probably have to catch it in time again. Oh well, I guess I'm healthy today so I'm blessed in that regard.

And yep, 20 years of smoking making it tough, but I'm quitting....slowly.

Well I had a biopsy on a bladder growth today...it was bigger than the Dr. said when I got the scope a month ago. He decided to remove the whole thing and told me it was cancerous. He's sending it off to be lab tested but he sounded pretty certain...I'll know for sure next week. I guess he got it all but I'm going to see a couple oncologists to see what they think I should be doing. For now life will go on normally, at least until I get more info next week. Not sure if I'll have some kind of treatments or just watch the area regularly or what. I guess it's time to stop smoking, start getting a decent amount of sleep, and eating more vegetables. I'm suprisingly upbeat. I guess its because I don't know what the heck is going on yet, or what the real prognosis is. The doctor only talked to my wife because i was still out, and once she heard the word cancer she pretty much didn't hear anything else... No matter the outcome, my production abilities for my existing jeep products won't change. Tony can handle it all easily. Development of new stuff might be a different story. I guess time will tell.

Hope everything turns out ok man. I have an aunt that had breast cancer it went into submission and now came back is is beating it again. If she can do you can bro. you will be alright.

My wife and I are both praying for you. My wife has fought and defeated cancer several times now. Each time it has happened it was a shock and caused some serious life changes. Just keep us posted and stay positive.

Hope all is well. I work w/ a guy that recently had his entire bladder removed due to cancer. They made a new one w/ a portion of intestine and all is well again. He was down and out for a while there but pretty much all back to normal now. They told him it was directly related to his years of smoking. Good luck!

Post subject:	Cancer sucks, I lost my Father In Law to Bladder Cancer
He never smoked either. He had his bladder removed and then it got his liver years later. One thing the Doc told me is that Cancer hates Vitamin D. My wife and I take 2000 IU per day. I hope Cancer hates Vitamin D as much as Terrorists hate Barbecue Ribs, Smoked Ham, and Grilled Pork Chops. Quitting smoking is a good move (the additives they put in cigarettes is worse than the tobacco), sound nutrition is another thing to go for and a part of Cancer treatment. Good luck, we need more survivors.

Started with lump/swelling in neck/collarbone area last october. Had a needle biopsy, scans and mri's and u name it, then had it removed. All came back clear of cancer. During the MRI's and such they were looking for tumors in my abdomen and found one on my adrenal gland. Fortunately from their scans and such they determined it was NOT cancer, that it was a fatty growth. Well, I went to a urologist to monitor the adrenal gland. He has mandatory pee tests every time you go to him, and presto: trace of blood in the urine leads to looking in the bladder, which found the tumor. Most all that occured last nov/dec. They told me I had blood and needed to do a scope back then, but I kind of blew it off. They told me again after a follow up MRI this summer, so I let them look. Glad I did and I'll never blow them off again... I'm still going to my oncologist from last winter for his advice, having a kidney CT scan next week, and I'm going to find someone who specializes in this type of cancer to get the third opinion. If they all say "wait and watch for more tumors" then that's what I'll do.

yes cancer does suck, their is no other way to really say it...i was wearing a pin on my backpack strap after my sister passed that said "**** CANCER" got in trouble for it even though its an organization Best of luck chip, advice, STOP SMOKING and don't crawl under jeeps at lift partys all day

Originally I thought it was a cyst and procrastinated with it during the time I was dealing with my late wife's battle with breast cancer. Just before she passed, that "bump" in my armpit ballooned on me. So I went to her Surgeon and he told me there was only one guy who could help me. So I went to see him at the University of Chicago Hospital, and he confirmed the worst. Meanwhile, my wife lost her fight and I began radiation treatment for 6 weeks. At the end of that time frame, my Surgeon told me if the radiation didn't shrink the tumor, he would have to take my left shoulder and arm. He basically ran his hand from the left side of my neck down to the left side of my waist. This was where he would cut away. Meanwhile, I had a 2 week break. During the first week, I had 3 doses of chemotherapy - the 24 hour drip method from a tube I would wear home. I did this for 3 days straight. During the second week break, at that time I told the surgeon he wasn't going to take my shoulder and arm. He said, okay, we will hope for the best. So I began another 6 weeks of radiation treatments. Mind you both 6 week periods were 5 days a week. So to jump ahead, I underwent 4 1/2 hours of surgery and three days later he came into my hospital room to tell me the cancer was confined to the tumor, the tumor was dead, and I was cancer free. He said "We did your way, and you were right". I looked at him and said; "Well I may have been right, but you're my hero". I can tell you, when you're fighting cancer, the love and support from friends and family makes it easier to keep that positive attitude you need to beat the disease. For the first year after, I went for check-ups every 6 months. Now I see him once a year. So far, so good. I hope this ordeal is over for you.

Jerry who was your doctor..my sisiters doctor was Dr. Broxstien, best ever He really helped my sister until she went back to Kansas and decided to get treatment there and didn't make it
