cool idea but way over-engineered, 1 gallon of air supports 55lbs in water. Even if the thing weight 5500lbs thats only 100 gallons of air, I use gallons because its an easier reference than cubic feet, 2 of my fishtanks would have held it afloat. They look larger than the normal 55 gal drums so if each pontoon was an under-estimated 4 drums, 8 drums x 55 gal x 55lbs supportive weight = 24,200lbs. Nice try though, make those things way smaller and closer to the vehicle or a rigging to stow them and you might be able to take it on a trail or two. Now what to name it? jeep barge, jeep floatilla, pontoon jeep, ss unsinkable III.
