i think it's got to do with which side of your brain your dominant in, which i don't think actually has anything to do with which hand you're dominant in

These types of tests were done years ago, before texting really. I have taken some speed reading type courses back years ago and in some of them you do the 1st/last letter and on some even every other word or so.

perhaps they should print texts books like this for people who have mild to moderate dyslexia?
