A guy at work has a '99 2WD Explorer that needs a replacement trans. Anyone know of a reputably bone yard that does swaps in the Greater Chicago Area?

How much longer does he plan on keeping it? If it's for a while, I suggest checking out a rebuilt from http://www.shiftritetransmissions.com in Kankakee, IL.

They rebuilt Green's with upgrades and it came out under $1000 with me doing the R&R.
