You get the privilege of trying to get the shedding under control every spring.... this much hair gets brushed out almost daily. :furious:

I had an Akita.... it was like he shedded all year round, man it was horrible the fur was everywhere. Pretty dogs by the way. Now I have a boxer and bassett.... short hair :BANANA:

Ours don't shed...but it cost $100 to groom both poodles today...needs to be done every 2 months.

my shepherd is not even that bad...but we had a malemute at one point for about 6 months and it tried to eat our jack russel

The cold region dogs, huskies, malamutes, akitas, etc have a much denser undercoat for the cold weather/wet/etc which contributes to the heavier shedding. Not only do they have a top coat to shed, but a dense undercoat. My akita would lay out in the snow, even covered in ice and love it.
Now we have a min schnauzer too.... have to get her cut every 2 months or so..... :furious:

wife had to get one :banghead:

Our Great Pyrenees does that. In some places, they spin it into yarn and makes things out of it.

Okay...I will start off by saying, when I first heard about this ridiculously named animal brush I was a bit skeptical. I thought it didn't get much better than that dense stiff wire type brush that I had been using...but boy was I ever wrong. This 'brush', if you can call it that is amazing!...yes it is expensive, but the video and pictures you see are not an exaggeration, it really does work that well. It does wonders on brushing out the undercoat on my golden retriever and she loves every minute of it. You guys with long haired dogs should really go out and give this thing a shot...I think I got mine at petsmart.

I have an English Springer Spaniel and Springer/Australian mix and I'm stuck with a medium length haired cat to.
Cat loves to be brushed the dogs not so much!

Oakley makes an surf wax spreader that costs $8 and works just as well as that brush... even comes with a bottle opener... just sayin... :mrgreen:

...if I surfed I probably would have noticed that as well. But hey, now in the future if I ever decide to start, I've got a 50$ surf wax spreader lol :lol:
