Mountain Bikers?

I was just wondering if there were any other avid mountain bikers around this forum

I've always loved it, but as of the last couple weeks, I've become a real addict :twisted:

Here's some pics from today at Sundance Resort East of Provo, Utah...

And some from last week up Payson Canyon

Durangotang does a lot of mountain biking and extreme downhill. Here is a video he posted,If you search his post there is some great stuff on there. I'm sure he will chime in.

Used to be...raced in VT for a few years, had a great time, then switched to predominantly road when I moved here to this flat island but did some MTB on the side, especially the VT50 miler which is an incredible race. Then I had a couple of kids..............

i've been hitting the trails a lot to.. in NW PA and in the middle of PA where there are some bigger hills! real jealous of you guys out west with the real MTN's. i ride a cannon super V 1000

That's a sweet bike! I just went with a Specialized RockHopper, just because I need a hardtail for climbing, but I've been looking into getting another bike strictly for downhill :BANANA:

i've heard a lot of people use hardtails for downhill. i'm just learning about the whole mountain bike scene. i found that cannon on craigslist for a killer deal so i couldn't pass it up!!! brought it home and changed the main bearing, shifter cables, rear shock bushings, peddles, and tuned the de-railers now she rides like brand new!. I've gotten my friends into it as well.. one just bought a trek 3500 and the other bought a trek 4300. both outstanding bikes.

i found 2 trek 3500s

reported them stolen and then they gave them to me after they couldnt claim an owner. all stock right now, hopefully i will change the breaks and shocks up front soon!

Haha I had the same problem, I biked a lot until I turned 16, then I forgot about it for a few years...
