I didn't know where to post this on LOST but I thought this would be a good place. Next year, I may trade my KJ to a TJ and do a Brute conversion. This kit costs around $8,000. If I could find one to buy I'd do that, but I can hardly find one on the internet for sale. This would be my next project ![]() Here's the link to the Brute Conversion Kit http://www.quadratec.com/products/12503_2000_TGC.htm?sgsc=QSHOPGBASE&utm_medium=compshop&utm_source=googlemerchant |

Budke wrote: That is an AEV kit. https://secure.aev-conversions.com/stor ... 41003022AA Yeah I know. I thought if I just bought a TJ LWB, I could modify the rear tailgate to flip down and I would have all that extra room in the back. Then buy a half closed cab hardtop from them. |

Someone makes kits that does just that. Or you can get a CJ tail gate which flips down and retrofit it onto the LJ. |

STINGN wrote: its too bad it takes up all that space and you cant have a spare Conversion kit doesn't take up any additional space. Jeep in the pic has what looks to be a Tuffy Enclosure or shelf in the back. Spare? Bumper with Tire carrier. |
