VA, IL, TX, FL, NY, CA, UK, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, South Africa, Beijing, Sydney and Hong Kong and India.

Regardless of your geographical location, the DNS Server ip addresses contained in the walkthrough will redirect you to the closest NeuStar DNS server

In otherwords, after the first time I noticed a ComCast dns failure when I got here, (TimeWarner held the lines where I came from) I switched back to using NeuStar DNS servers, and I haven't noticed any DNS outages that seem to be plaguing the midwest since I did it.. so....

Glad I have fios at home and the availability to use my android phone as backup internet. At work I have crapcast and I use my own dns server, but that doesn't remedy all the issues of having crapcast as an isp...

sad thing is, there was nothing wrong with the "interwebz" .. although it was pretty fast last night with less than 1/10th of the traffic load in the region that it usually gets

i think about the only thing streaming was nerds, and xbox's and junk

i just get annoyed with that mess, because I know there's no excuse for it, and since i'm no longer vpn'ing into the islands to do my work, it pissed me off the first time I noticed it about 6 weeks ago

HEY...I PLAY XBOX! but its not like i spend 4 hours on it a day...maybe 6 hours a week at most

Well if they are silly enough not to secure their wireless why no use it and save paying for your own internet. I don't have anyone now nearby that has an open network. We used to and I would conect to it when I was downloading videos with my desktop so I could surf fast on the laptop.
