Post subject:  SAVE JOHNSON VALLEY DISTRICT 37 EVENT - Pictures

We had a great run at the Save Johnson Valley District 37 event. Hundreds showed up for the weekend. It was a mixture of dirt bikes and 4x4's. Rich the co-ordinator of the trail runs asked to do a run on the Bullfrog. So with 35+ vehicles signed up I said lets do it!! There were a variety of makes and builds. It ended up being a really fun ride. Not all the particapents finished, and after 5+ hours on the trail we had our fill of rocks (and wind) and headed back to main-camp to air up or climb into a motorhome.

There wasn't any breakdowns and just minimal body damage - mostly scratched bumpers and bent fenders. Lots of fun though.

The next planned run on this trail is Jan. 10th 2009. Please come out and join us.

Don't let him scare you away from the JV area though. There is a ton of stuff to explore and do out in JV so get a couple inch lift and just get out there!

Had a chance to by a FJ40 great body but the engine and tranny was change from the original to high end performance combination. Would have had to change it out, now looking back doing that versus putting $4000 into a lift and tires for my 2008 liberty would have been cheaper....

Well now gotta invest into the liberty and find its limits.
