Hey guys... I just wanted to share my experience with STAR JEEP in Glendale. Rusnak in Pasadena gave us the "everything's within spec" and sent us on our way after being a little crappy about the lift and tires. Star in Glendale replaced the Upper control arms and the Rack n Pinion under extended warrenty with no grief about the Lift at all....NONE...not even a mention of it. Just in case you need it....I'd give them a try.

I'll add in my 2 cents. AVOID HUNTER JEEP IN LANCASTER AT ALL COSTS!!! PM me for details if needed. Rack and pinion huh?! What happened? |

I noticed some looseness/noise when going over expansion joints and the like. I did the "ball joint" test and the wheel moved inward a good 1/2" at the 12 and 6 position and I could see the upper ball joint physically move. Thats what got me to take it in...but I didn't expect the Rack n Pinion replacement. KJ drives like new now though

We bought our Jeep down in Rancho after we bought our lift. When we asked about the warranty they told us they could only guarantee a warranty if they installed the lift. That was over 2 years ago so things might have changed. |

Has anyone had experience with Norm Reeves in Temecula? Are they lift friendly? |
