I was planning to attend twin arches as well, but getting dirty or stuck with not much protection or recovery tools made me think otherwise. Since you are the captain of the area, I don't think I would head down there alone or with Albert, first of all we are not familiar with the area, secondly since part of it (most of it) is private property, I would be hesitant to go all the way, with fear of passing some boundaries and getting shot at. :P

OK. So We are still 7 jeeps, confirmed, right?

Chris, where is the pie place? And are we gonna go back to the pizza shop? That place had nice pizza there. Everyone, bring cameras so we can have different shots of each others' vehicles, like last time.

I took the rails off so if anyone wants to pick them up, they are ready. I also included the allen key I got which should make it a snap to install it at the spot. I bought myself a roof basket, my wife isn't a fan of it but I liked it.

Ballston Spa. It is a little village no one ever heard of but close to Saratoga and everyone in NY knows where that is.

I hope this time we can line up at the top and take pictures there. Last time someone parked right next to me so Newman had to park apart. We got Three Jeeps a sedan and another jeep :(

The "Pie" place is actually a full restaurant and they have great burgers as well as other stuff and very well priced. I figured we'd have lunch and pie.

Looking forward to the meet. I have to stop in Fishkill first on the way down. Hopefully I won't get lost, but I have directions and Hyde's and Cacher's cell # just in case. It should be fun.

Albert, i will heading down FROM the Fishkill area if you want to head down together. I'm planning on going thru Fishkill around 11:30-11:45 or so. Let me know when you're going to be in the area, and perhaps we can hook up. Bob

That would be fine. I will need to find The Marriott at 17 Westgate Drive. I have directions to there. Just not sure what time I will be there. I am not expecting a lot of traffic on Saturday morning so I think I can drive it in 2 hours or so. I was thinking of being in that area around 11:00 -11:20 or so. I think Bear Mountain is not too far from there. I will PM you my cell# and we will see if we can hook up. We can do a mini-caravan with 2 black KJ's.

Stay on Rte 9 south until you hit a traffic light at Rte 301 junction. Make right onto 301 and drive into Cold Spring.

Now you have choice at Rte 301 & 9D traffic light junction. Continue down Rte 301 to my home or make left onto Rte 9D to Bear Mountain Bridge.
