Just a BTT, Rally is this sun. Its going to be great, the raffles are awesome this year, lots of club booths, Great food choices, also we are building a mini rock garden for rc's this year...so if you have an rc crawler bring it along and have some fun with it. Hope to see you all there. Bull.

I am hoping to get there either the night before, or early Sunday morning. I plan to be in the show field, is everyone else going to "show", and you are we should try to group up. Any thoughts?

The way I understand it is that the Jeeps will be parked in the park for viewing by the general public, I contacted the gentleman to see if we needed to be registered and he said that there would be plenty of room to park in the show. So I plan to be there all waxed up (not me of course) to show off a little. However driving three hours in the rain (down here its going rain) the Libby would not be that clean when I get there.

So I am under the impression that we are allowed to be in the "show". correct me if I am wrong. This way I can leave half of my junk home (past trophys, cleaning products, sign, etc etc...)

Mike thats what I understand also & those who come in together get to park together so if we meet up before hand we should be able to park together

AL you are also correct if you have a jeep your in the show area,so we all should be in there somewhere

I'm a first timer also so I don't know what to expect either,I'm just going by what I've been told

Ok here is some clearing up for ya. As to being in the show.....any rig that goes through the gate and parks is tech in the show. Once you get to the gate you pay your $10 fee(gets donated) that lets you park and gets you a free goody bag full of stickers(while they last), other misc doo dads, program flyer telling when raffles are sponsers and such and there will be a card index size with a # on it. You fill this out with your info so when the judges are walking around and they wanna nominate you for something they know your info. Some of the catagories they judge are, farthest drive, best offroad, best DD, uglyest, best stock.....and so on. As to parking....you will only really be able to park next to each other if you show up together. You can stage and wait for your buds across the street in the large parking lots, till they arrive and go in together. This is also where any vehicle that doesnt say jeep on it parks....plus tow rigs and trailers. If you go to www.nejeep.org and check out the forums, the gen one has a link to the websites and all that is being raffled off to.......warn winch, bfg tires, interco tires, lockers, gears, all kinds od accessories, there is a money raffle too. The goodie bag also includes one free raffle ticket you can use for any raffle. If you have any quick questions email me and I can answer for ya. jbullock45@cox.net and make sure to say hi to me when your there....dont know where Ill be but ask someone in an orange t where Bull or cjshloman is. Id like to check out your clubs libertys. Have a great time. Bull.

Thanks Bull for posting! Glad to see some of the LOSTKJ folks are coming. Keep in mind - this is an active event! We have a rock garden to play on and RTI ramps too. It's a family friendly event with plenty of great food, music and fun. The Raffles are awesome! Plenty to keep the kids entertained also. We'll have a RC rock garden for the public to play on as well as a demonstration from a local RC RockCrawler club. Hope to see you there!

Hey everyone - found out about you guys from raceinfan on Freedom Trail Riders forums. We would love to see a huge group of KJs parked together at the Rally, that would so rock 8)

Don't get caught up in thinking the Jeep Rally as a "show" because it is so much more than that. It is a charity event that celebrates all that Jeep is, a very cool vehicle, no matter what it looks like. Pull it, drive it, tow it, who cares, just bring it

No one makes money off this event. All proceeds from your entrance fees and raffle and merchandise purchases go directly to our charities and the Northeast Association of 4 Wheel Drive Clubs to keep the fight alive. Our charities this year are the Somers, CT Volunteer Fire & Ambulance and the Florida, MA Volunteer Fire Department.

The horse council is having a show in the back of the fairgrounds that we are allowed to attend, as Bull and JeepinMaxx have mentioned there will be food/beverage vendors, all kinds of vendors selling apparel and aftermarket parts, tons of cool raffles - good stuff that you actually want to win, a DJ, r/c rockcrawling, a rock garden for the mild and one for the more adventurous, and 2 RTI ramps. There is also a separate section for the military and antique Jeeps that's very cool to see. Also lots of northeast wheeling clubs and the NEA4WDC will be there.

Sorry I didn't find you guys sooner but I know about ya now  :D Hope to see a nice turnout of your rigs at the Rally on Sunday! You won't be sorry
