I am attempting to get a spare set of tires closer to the stock size. My MT/Rs are killing my wallet because of the decreased gas mileage. I was able to find a set of Crager soft 8 16" 5" BS rims with a set of 245/75 GY RT/S on em. Tire and Rim are both damned near brand new with under 500 miles.
Problem is that they are the same size as the MT/Rs. While lighter, they won't really improve my mileage enough to go thorugh the hassle of swapping them out every time I want to offroad. What I am looking for is someone that wants to trade my tires (the 245/75 RT/S's) and maybe the rims for your stock sized tires/rims. I'd prefer just a tire swap, and for something other than the stock SR/Ts, but still in the 235/70 or lower size that comes stock. If someone would prefer to swap the whole thing, Cragers and Tires, for stock rims and tires, I'd work with ya. It's a pretty good deal if you just lifted, want the larger tires so you don't look silly, but can't really afford a good set of mudders yet. NE and MA sections only please. Unless you are willing to drive to Scranton, PA. |

i would love to have a second set of wheels and tires, i just lifted and got MT/Rs, and yes, they are noisy and costing me fuel! i'd put them on your soft 8's, and get another set of revo's for every day use. anyone have hints on growing my money tree a little higher? LOL |
