It was a good afternoon we had today. Plenty of MUD and many times of being stuck. Here is a video feed of some high lights of the day.

Hans, Steve and Steves wife I forgot her name but it starts with A. It was a pleasure meeting you guys and getting a chance to do some wheeling. We will have to do it again some time soon.
Or after I figure my either axel or hub problem......I was saying I wanted to come home today with either body damage or mechanical damage. I think I got the mechanical insted. LOL
A good friend of mine came along with me and the 2 4wheelers you see are my cousins. We had some good UN-CLEAN fun.

Thanks Jeep Dawg for providing the Trail Ride Video that fast!

I had lots of fun today ... and got pretty muddy. Lost tons of dirt and mud on the Interstate ... I've heard some rumors that there is mud on I-84 up to the Masspike ;)

Nice to meet ya all - we should do this again!

Hey guys, great to meet ya, My wife's name is Adriana, she didn't care too much for off roading, so I'll have to work on it a little, she did say she wanted to go again, so that's a plus, got to keep her interested so I can continue to buy Jeep toys. Hey Brian, thanks for getting the video up. Let's do that again soon, Steve :D

Yea we had a blast. We also found 3 of the 4 MUD HOLES. and they were HOLES alrite!

Here are pictures of the aftermath:
The next morning

Image

After cleaning the lights for the ride home. I twisted my bull bar real bad at twin arch. Had to bend it back on the trail.

Image

The load from under the KJ after using my power washer

Image

After 5 hours of HARD work to get it clean. (you can still see some grass from the under side)

Image

It was well worth the funn to see us get stuck and stuff.

I can't believe there was a jeep under that mess!!!, But even with all that mud it still looks better than my JEEP after being parked under an elevated train track all day, even with a powerwasher I'm still trying to get all the pigeon crap off!! What the HELL do those BRONX pigeons eat???

Hi Hyedipin,

Besides your HP trires ... there might be another reason why you wouldn't have enjoyed that trip on Sunday. In another thread (in General Discussion) you made the following statement: "That's not as bad as I thought it would be, but any scratch on a liberty makes my heart ache, so I hope you get the KJ back soon!"

We got pinstripping from trees and brushes on Sunday ... you would still be in emergency room with heart issues today

Yea man we did get pin stripping. After I got down to the factory paint, I found scratches. They all buffed rite out. Now the jeep look SHARP again.
But better with MUD!!!!

Hey Steve and Hans;

Did you guys get any good pictures of the trip?
I would like to see if you got any kool shots. some how I did not capture all of the video and also when I was taking still shots with my Cam Corder I never switched over to stills. So I lost them all. I took a ton of them too. :( :(

Brian and Northbee, Poor jeeps :(
You both are right.. I could probably fall down to my knees and weep. Nah, kidding aside, my jeep needs a good work on the paint. I had been holding out to find a good place who can do the job for me, but it looks like I will have to do it all by myself.

If they buff right out, I wouldn't worry much about that, and would try to enjoy the trail. I hope to join you guys next time, with new tires, all plated up, etc.. just less mud.. :)

Hey hyedipin

You should come up to twin arch with me one day. This area has a mix of stuff. you wont get pin stripping untill you get into the upper area after climbing the rock walls. The lower and mid area are not bad at all. THERE WILL BE MUD thoe.

Give your Jeep what it wants... :D
