Post subject:  Jeep Magazine this month
... has an article on "The Golden Road" up around Mt. Katahdin in Maine. We could add that to the list of places to wheel. It's a LOOOONG way up there, but it's really beautiful up there in any season, hiking, rafting, canoeing, biking, camping, etc when you get there, too. Not sure how much of a trail it is, I think it's more of an old logging road, but the author of the article said that there were some tough spots.

Haven't been up that way in a long time it's near Baxter State Park but that would have to be a long weekend stay over night type deal it's a haul :shock: but it's definitly something to keep in mind for next year
