Post subject:  Liberty Tires
i know this topic has been up on numerous occasions, but i was just wondering if maybe 225/75 would fit on my 03 liberty sport. i have no lift and i want ''better'' tires. maybe the general grabbers at2's.

any help on the topic would be helpful.

I have 225/75/16 BFG AT KO's on a stock suspention and no problems at all.

whats the overrall diamater of those? i think there a lil bit bigger than 230/70/16... or am i wrong

they are close because of the treads that are on them. its an agressive tire. when I first put them on, the front was close to the pinch weld but never had a problem. I will try to dig up the picture of my tires when they were NEW

I put LT 235 70 R 16 TA KM, which fall under the optional tire for KJ Renegade 2005's, they are agressive, and have some sidewall bite, and are great for rocks, mud, and snow, they do make noise. I've put over 37K, and woundn't change them for any other tire. However, if you are new to the trails, do you have skid plates? If not, I get them before the tires. I have Firestone destinaton AT's 235/75/16 Lift or stock no rubbing, great tire w/ a semi-agressive tread pattern. I also had 235/70/16 Bridgestones the 75'S give alittle more hieght than the 70's. You could also just stay w/ the 225/75/16 size. But since you have an 03 you probably have sagged springs by now so you may want to look into some OLD MAN EMU springs and enjoy your ride even more, my two cents. You may even go through with getting a lift unlike some members who let their frankenlift sit on a garage floor.. :lol: (SORRY inside joke,BRI) TAKE CARE..

Yes I have meet other off roader's out on the trails (KJ's) of Paragon, PA that used them. I searched for them, and they are much cheaper when compared to BFG, and even Goodyear, but I have also heard of past lawsuits, so I figured heck with the 160 bucks I could have saved and went with the BFG's. You need to spend more, especially if safety is on the line. Steve
