Twin Arch trails important information I just found out early this week. The owner of Twin Arch has let this land go for not paying taxes. Right now the state owns this property. (I guess we can now call it state property). All the local people are still enjoying the use still. If any of you guys go there, it is now at Your Own Risk! The homes that surround T.A. are used to people going up there with ATV’s 4x4’s and hunters. Most likely there will not be any issues until someone buys the property. Unless all of us North-East crew can pony up a few hundred thousand bucks and buy it for ourselves. (That Would be GREAT). I was talking to my cousin who is a NY State Trooper and he said the worst they can do is give you a ticket for trespassing. But if it is land that is known for 4wheeling, most likely they will just bust your ballz and push you off the land until they get down the road. Don’t let this shy you away from having fun. There were people up there today when I drove past it on my way home and a local police car was on the corner in the wood looking for speeders and watching the ATV’s play. |
