I just got a $150 gift card from 4wheelparts. My jeep needs a whole lot of stuff. I don't have recovery points yet. I don't have a hi-lift. i don't have recovery straps etc....
I just have it lifted and have good tires.

Whats the best way to use the $150 at 4wheelparts based on what they have in their catalog?

Tow points are def a first and maybe skidplates next if your going to take it off road now.

those are things on the list. I'm just basing the question though on what 4wheelparts has in stock. They have recovery hooks but are the mopar set better (easier to install?). They also have a hitch (draw tite) but is the cheaper mopar just as good? They don't have skids that fit the liberty.

If you're getting Front hooks, Mopar is the way to go. Any other hooks need to be fabricated to fit properly.

You can always get a front hitch, which they started making again.

Any brand rear hitch works the same. Reese, Curt, Hidden Hitch or Mopar. Try to find the cheapest price and buy it. A U-Haul brand hitch sits a little lower than the previous brands. But not by much.

I carry around a 48incher and fits nicely under the rear seat.
Any thing bigger then that would probably have to go on a roof rack or basket.

If you're really planning on getting one ask yourself this question...

Where am I going to use it to jack the jeep up?
Stupid question but it will make sense in a minute.

Lots of people have the hi-lift jack but also have rock rails or a steal bumpers that can be used for lift points.
If you don't have any of those you will have to get a Hi-Lift Jack Lift-Mate and carry around a jack stand to put under the tire your changing.

I just got mine because this past weekend me and a few others got our sliders installed.
Also if you want to save some money on the hi-lift I just purchased one from harbor freight of exit 19 on the southern state for 45 bucks. It doesn't have a fancy name but it will get the job done just like the name brand ones.

So when are you planning to wheel that thing?!?
